Rowan Tree Yoga for ages 16+

As someone who was never very coordinated or ‘sporty’ as a young adult, it took me years to build confidence to go to an exercise class. It is because of this lack of self-esteem that I’m proud to offer 30, 45 and 60 minute yoga classes to local sixth forms around Norfolk. My aim is to introduce students of all abilities and fitness to the basics of yoga, including a focus on breathwork, gentle movement and increasing mobility.

During and after-school classes are available, as well as yoga classes for teachers too. Reach out using the form below if you’re interested in learning more.

Enhance well-being and reduce stress

Incorporating yoga into the school-day helps students manage stress, both physically and mentally. Through mindful movement and breathwork, yoga promotes relaxation, lowers tension, and helps young people approach their day with a clearer, calmer mindset.

Promote physical health and mobility

Sitting for long periods can lead to discomfort, stiffness, and poor posture. Yoga encourages movement and flexibility, helping to prevent common issues like back pain or joint stiffness. Yoga is also incredibly effective at speeding up recovery times and preventing future injury for students who are eager athletes.

Boost focus and productivity

A regular yoga practice sharpens concentration and mental clarity, leading to better decision-making and increased productivity. By encouraging students to try yoga, you’ll help them return to their schoolwork feeling refreshed and more focused.

Build team connection and morale

Yoga isn’t just about physical benefits; it also fosters a sense of community. Shared wellness activities bring your students together, creating a more positive, collaborative atmosphere at school. When students feel good, they connect better with each other and their community.
